I provide counseling to adolescents and adults and value the opportunity to work with individuals and families across a broad range of concerns. My approach integrates evidence-based and insight-oriented therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and psychodynamic principles. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances. I also have extensive training and experience in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Drawing from this range of approaches and experience, I strive to create a collaborative, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and able to make meaningful choices.
I also offer consultation services. Sometimes it is difficult to determine which type of therapist or treatment to seek, as the multitude of categories, labels, and terms can seem both very specific and broad. Plus, it can be unclear how these relate to your unique feelings and concerns. I enjoy helping people navigate this search either for themselves or a loved one. I can help you get started, narrow the search, and identify the different treatments and approaches. The consultation does not establish a diagnosis or treatment plan and is not a pathway to a specific therapist or therapy. The goal of the consultation is to help clarify, translate, and bridge the gap between how you feel and what therapy offers, so you can navigate your search with more knowledge and confidence.
