I provide counseling for adolescents and adults and work with individuals and families on a range of issues. My clinical experience and specialized training have focused on anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I believe that a thorough history and diagnostic assessment is the key to the most accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan and enjoy creating a plan with my clients that we revisit and revise to ensure progress. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I have extensive training and experience in working with Family Based Treatment to treat eating disorders. My rigorous background in evidence-based treatments is balanced by clinical experience to make informed decisions about when and how to utilize these treatments and how to adapt them to a client’s needs.
I am licensed in Minnesota and credentialed through PSYPACT to practice telehealth in multiple states.
